The Welding Manufacturers Association (WMA) has existed for over 50 years and provides the UK manufacturers and suppliers of welding equipment and consumables with a focal point of co-ordinated action and influence on legislative, commercial and technical matters in the home market and throughout the European Union.

The WMA was at its inception a federated association of BEAMA, The Federation of British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers' Association, and is now a member of BEAMA Ltd and of the BEAMA Confederation. WMA is consequently able to offer its members the full benefits of the BEAMA service departments, i.e. Commercial (including statistics), Legal, Environmental and Technical (including generic standards and Directives), International (Overseas Trade Missions) and Exhibitions.
